Numismatist, specialist in American gold coins
For over 35 years, he has been handling exceptional coins. He recognises what makes a coin rare and knows where it belongs. His network extends far beyond national borders, from NGC to Heritage Auctions in the United States. Jan specialises in American gold coins. Thanks to his professional experience in the United States, Jan is uniquely placed to assist you with the valuation, auction or sale of American coins.
Robbe Devriendt
Numismatist, specialist in the Southern Netherlands and the Belgian Congo
A historian by training (Ghent University), a numismatist by passion. His interest lies in the coins of the Southern Netherlands and the Belgian Congo. Robbe began collecting coins at an early age and was already a member of the EGMP at the age of 18. During his history studies, he researched a wide range of financial institutions and monetary systems, including the role of bead money (wampum) in 16th- and 17th-century North America.
For the Moens collection, he delved into the handwritten index cards, searching for the story behind each piece. His research will be published in the EGMP’s 2027 yearbook.
